FOR 15 YEARS, I HAVE "ENTRUSTED 1ST CLASS ALIGNMENT~REPAIR" TO INSTALL MANY PARTS THAT WERE BADLY RUSTED BY THOSE NY WINTERS OF CHEMICAL ROAD TREATMENT. THE CREW WAS DILIGENT IN REPLACING CROSS-- MEMBER SUB FRAME/ALONG WITH 6PART SUSPENSION CONTROL ARMS. AFTERWARD, IN FALL 2021 WAS A MAJOR JOB INSTALLING REBUILT MOTOR UNDER WARANTY...BUT IT SEIZED WITH BLOWN HEAD GASKET. "1ST CLASS" TOOK ACTION, TOWED IT BACK TO SHOP & LOCATED ANOTHER MOTOR WITH LOW MILEAGE & HONORED WARANTY--PARTS & LABOR. OWNERS, ERIC & GLADYS NORDLAND ARE CONSISTENTLY HONEST GIVING ESTIMATE FOR PARTS/LABOR WITH NO EXCESS CHARGE SURPRISES. IT'S A FAMILY OPERATED BUSINESS WITH A CHEERFUL ENVIRONMENT. I WAS STUNNED INTO TEARS WHEN GLADYS LOANED ME HER CAR TO SCOUT MANY STORES FOR MISSING HEAVY DUTY NUTS/WASHERS. SHE EVEN SET UP MY GPS SINCE PORT JERVIS IS NEW AREA TO TRAVEL. FINALLY, TRUE VALUE HARDWARE HAD IN STOCK!! UPON RETURN, I THANKED HER SO VERY MUCH~~~SHE CALMLY REPLIED"NO WORRIES"!! AHHH, A SIGH OF RELIEF..BUT SHE ASKED IF I WAS OKAY SINCE I WAS FADING & WEARY FOR 6 HRS STRESS. MY ENERGY PERKED RIGHT BACK UP SINCE GLADYS MADE ME SMALL PIZZA PIE~~~SUCH A COMPASSIONATE HEART...GOD BLESS HER & CREW!! AS TECH "ED" WITH "JOSE" ASSISTED TO COMPLETE INSTALL OF NEW REAR KYB STRUT ASSEMBLY ON LEFT, THEY DISCOVERED & DEMONSTRATED IT WAS BLOWN WITH NO COMPRESSION. THUS, THE STRESSFUL NIGHTMARE CONTINUES. RESOLUTION WAS RE-INSTALLING ORIGINAL LEFT STRUT TO SEND ME HOME SAFELY. I WILL HAVE TO CONTACT KYB FOR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PART. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE 6-7HR WAIT KNOWING I WAS SAFELY IN "PROFESSIONAL CARING HANDS". YES, I DO MISS THEM MOVING FROM MIDDLETOWN~~BUT I WON'T GET SCAMMED LIKE MONROE MUFFLER DID IN PAST YEARS.
