***EDIT: Updated review, changed to 5 stars. Read below for why.*** Fantastic family-owned business, and nice waiting area. Slotted me in for an oil change and took less than two hours, and even looked at a few other things. However, the oil change was not the only thing they did. I asked them to fix a rear break light, and when they asked if I wanted my tires rotated, I declined. They rotated the tires anyways, and switched them from front to back for safety reasons (the front ones were thin on a FWD van). All of this is fantastic service, except for the fact that they did this without asking me, and charged me for the service anyways. They said they would take the rotation off of the bill, but strangely, offering that put me in an awkward position of "Do I pay for the hard work I didn't ask for" and "Do I steal labor hours from a family business?" The key takeaway here is that they never asked me if I wanted the tires swapped from front to back, and rotated the tires even though I declined the request. This would've been a five-star review. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, it's very accessible, and even the printed summary is easy to read and helpful for filing, but unfortunately the lack of clarity when it came to the work being done ahead of time and the actual work being completed compared to what was asked dinged it two full stars. A normal issue with service would normally be a one-star concern, but miscommunication like this is a pretty severe offense in a customer service-based business. ***UPDATE*** Changed rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. Within an hour of posting this, the business had read it, reviewed my service record, refunded me the cost of the rotation, and texted me a link to see a full list of what was charged and what for in an easy-to-read invoice system. The refund isn't why I am upgrading this from 3 stars to 5 stars. The fact that my review was listened to, acted upon, and even responded to in such a fast manner is fantastic. The transparency in communication and charges that came out of the resolution was also paramount. I can say that I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants the very best in customer service.
